# 3. Currency

## **Equinox Ecosystem Tokens**

### **Governance Token**

The $EQUINOX token will be allocated to different areas while ensuring that the majority of allocations are committed long-term through linear vesting periods. The $EQUINOX tokens live in the Solana blockchain and serve as the governance token of **Equinox** Ecosystem. The token may be earned as staking rewards, airdrop, and from contests or events to be held in the future.

### Utility Token

The $ENX token is what players will primarily be earning in the game. A major goal is to create and maintain a balanced mint and burn ratio of the token. For the continuous game, the economy utility token’s supply will be uncapped.

## SOLMINATOR NFT HOLDER

Solminator holders will have benefits in the game, such as special tournaments, and special boxes and cards.\
Before the game launch holders will receive a $equinox token for the staking ( More information about that on the Tokenomics document), later on, they can exchange that into an in-game token ($ENX)
